+The sequel of Avanazhi (1986) chronicles the
+further adventures of vigilante cop Balram
+(Mammootty) and Damodaran-Sasi’s
+investigations into corruption, violence and
+impotent liberal State institutions. Preethi
+(Urvashi), daughter of a rich jeweller who is
+murdered by a criminal nexus of smugglers
+and politicians, dares the incorruptible Balram
+to secure justice. When it turns out that this
+group of villains was also responsible for the
+killing of Balram’s wife, he takes the law into
+his own hands. Preethi proposes to Balram and
+he eventually agrees to marry her when he sees
