Set in rural post-Independence AP, it presents the struggle of the peasantry against the rich zamindar, continued at the end by the son of a martyred peasant. Shot on location in Telangana, it included several of Sri Sri’s radical lyrics e.g. the title song Bhoomikosam buktikosam saage raitula poratam and Evaro vastharani edo chestarani eduruchoosi mosapokuma. |
