     11As a result of a trick, Arivazhgan (MGR) sees 
     12his sister Anbukarasi (Padmini) married to and 
     13abducted by Vetrivelan (Nambiar), the general 
     14to the King of Mulai Nadu. The King entrusts 
     15one part of his will to his daughter Azhagurani 
     16(Rajasulochana) and the other to his friend 
     17Manimaraboopathi (Ashokan), the King of 
     18Naga Nadu, specifying that the will cannot be 
     19opened until his daughter’s 19th birthday. She, 
     20however, loves Arivazhgan. After the King dies, 
     21the villainous Vetrivelan becomes ruler, 
     22repudiates his wife and plans to possess the 
     23Princess. She manages to escape by hiding with 
     24the villain’s father, using a false identity. There 
     25she bears a child. On her 19th birthday, 
     26Arivazhgan comes to challenge the villain for 
     27his sister and his beloved, but Vetrivelan has 
     28made a false will public, proclaiming him King. 
     29However, Arivazhgan reveals the full truth of 
     30the man’s misdeeds and is about to kill him 
     31when his sister pleads for mercy for her 
     32miscreant husband. The villain then repents his 
     33misdeeds, opening the way for true democracy 
     34in Mullai Nadu.
