| 11 | As a result of a trick, Arivazhgan (MGR) sees |
| 12 | his sister Anbukarasi (Padmini) married to and |
| 13 | abducted by Vetrivelan (Nambiar), the general |
| 14 | to the King of Mulai Nadu. The King entrusts |
| 15 | one part of his will to his daughter Azhagurani |
| 16 | (Rajasulochana) and the other to his friend |
| 17 | Manimaraboopathi (Ashokan), the King of |
| 18 | Naga Nadu, specifying that the will cannot be |
| 19 | opened until his daughter’s 19th birthday. She, |
| 20 | however, loves Arivazhgan. After the King dies, |
| 21 | the villainous Vetrivelan becomes ruler, |
| 22 | repudiates his wife and plans to possess the |
| 23 | Princess. She manages to escape by hiding with |
| 24 | the villain’s father, using a false identity. There |
| 25 | she bears a child. On her 19th birthday, |
| 26 | Arivazhgan comes to challenge the villain for |
| 27 | his sister and his beloved, but Vetrivelan has |
| 28 | made a false will public, proclaiming him King. |
| 29 | However, Arivazhgan reveals the full truth of |
| 30 | the man’s misdeeds and is about to kill him |
| 31 | when his sister pleads for mercy for her |
| 32 | miscreant husband. The villain then repents his |
| 33 | misdeeds, opening the way for true democracy |
| 34 | in Mullai Nadu. |
